When learners know how to use the basic or common words of target language, they can communicate better thus master receptive productive skills language. In light this interpretation, English instructors started literary works expand learners’ vocabulary achieve outcomes. regard, short stories for acquisition instruction is an effective strategy that help both teachers their goals purposes. This study descriptive delving into utilization in teaching vocabulary. For learners, level determined by know, meaning use. addition, it not enough dictionary alone. Words have two levels meaning: literal emotive meaning. Literal denotative surface learn from dictionaries. On other hand, connotations implications signify. They are also called textual contextual The suggests should be taught as used written spoken discourses.
